Premier Women’s Rodeo Announces Qualifier Series Partnership with Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo

FORT WORTH, Texas (DECEMBER 16, 2025) – Premier Women’s Rodeo (PWR) is proud to announce a new partnership with the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo (BPIR), designating select 2026 BPIR events as official Qualifier Series (QS) events for the 2026 PWR Championship.

As part of this partnership, two BPIR events held between January and April 2026 will serve as PWR Championship qualifiers in Barrel Racing and Breakaway Roping:

  • Fort Worth, TX – February 14, 2026
  • Memphis, TN – April 11, 2026

“This partnership creates meaningful access and opportunity for BPIR athletes to qualify for the PWR Championship while competing in events they already value,” said PWR Commissioner, Linsay Rosser Sumpter. “We are proud to align with BPIR to empower communities and accelerate progress.”

How Qualification Works

At each approved BPIR event, PWR will award Qualifier Series spots per discipline as follows:

  • 1 Pro QS spot
  • 1 Challenger QS spot
  • Up to 10 Limited QS spots

To be eligible, athletes must purchase a W26 PWR ID Card and nominate the BPIR event through the Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ) towards the W26 segment. PWR ID Cards, while allow athletes to be classified as Pro, Challenger or Limited in each discipline are available for $150 and valid from April 2025 through April 2026.

Each BPIR QS event is designated as a minimum D2 event, with nominations costing $150 per discipline. Athletes who nominate will earn DOUBLE VRQ points from every round at the BPIR event.
